We are delighted to have completed our CHHESS report after extensive community engagement and work with City departments!
The report was presented at an open community forum on November 29, 2023. (Additional info is here.) It went to the City on May 21, 2024, was approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 25, 2024 and was signed by the Mayor on July 3, 2024. (Legislative history is here.)
The Cultural History, Housing, and Economic Sustainability Strategies (CHHESS) Report, serves as a roadmap of priorities and strategies for stabilizing the cultural community. Each Cultural District leads a robust community engagement process and works alongside City departments to create to this legacy document and strategic plan aimed at fulfilling each District’s vision and goals. The final reports are approved by the full Board of Supervisors by resolution and are revisited every three years.
