While LeatherWalk 2022 gathered in Civic Center Plaza, District President Bob Brown and Eric Jost, who is working with us on our Walking Tour Project, were at the Ringold Leather History Walk beginning of tour of the District with State Senator Ben Allen, Chair of the Joint Committee on the Arts, and Assemblymember Tasha Boerner-Horvath, Chair of the Assembly Committee on Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism and Internet Media. Special thank you’s to State Senator Scott Wiener and Bryan Dahl for speaking and for the proclamation from District 6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey at the opening; Jensen Young from Cruise And Grooves for our amazing vehicle; officials and officers at SFPD Northern Station, SF City Hall, and SF Recreation and Parks for making our rescheduling so seamless, and to all the SOMA businesses who opened their doors for us.
As planned, the LeatherWalk culminated at the Bearrison Street Fair.
