DESCRIPTION:The first five plaques of our long-anticipated sidewalk plaques commemorating historic sites in the Leather District were placed last month as part of the Folsom Streetscape Project. \nCommunity members are invited to celebrate the unveiling at Cemented in History\, a special event on Tuesday\, September 23\, 2025\, at 6 PM. The event will start with remarks by Supervisor Matt Dorsey at the Hole in the Wall (1369 Folsom Street) for the first plaque unveiling. Unveilings at Powerhouse (1347 Folsom Street) and Driftwood (1225 Folsom Street) will follow. \nDriftwood and Hole in the Wall will be open for socializing afterwards and Powerhouse will be celebrating their anniversary with a party beginning at 7 pm.
