DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a thrilling night of performance and conversation to open the THEYFRIEND 2023 Nonbinary Performance Festival \nTuesday\, November 14\, 6 pm (5:30 pm pre-panel)\nKoret Auditorium\, San Francisco Public Library\n100 Larkin St\, San Francisco\, CA 94102\nFREE\, donations encouraged \nModerated by SNJV\nPre-panel conversation with Sam Favela from the Transgender District\nWith Joce Ryder\, Mojo Carter\, Riy Mutakabbir and Zara Jamshed\nIn partnership with the Hormel LGBTQIA Center at San Francisco Public Library and the Transgender District \nJoin us for the kickoff event of the 2023 THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Performance Festival with a facilitated discussion and performances featuring local nonbinary artists and leaders.  \nPrior to the performances\, host and multidisciplinary artist SNJV will be joined by Sam Favela from the Transgender District for a foundational conversation centering the question “What is Nonbinary?” Then SNJV will be joined by drag artist Mojo Carter\, musician Joce Ryder\, poet Zara Jamshed\, and dancer Riy Mutakabbir for performances and a discussion exploring the relationship between creative practice and nonbinary identity.
