SUMMARY:Ringold Revival Block Party and Boot Walk
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the recent repairs and maintenance to the Ringold Leather History Alley\, the District\, which organized and managed the work and Soma West CBD\, which funded it\, are hosting a block party. \nHistory tours at 1 pm and 2 pm by noted historian\, and District board member\, Gayle S. Rubin\nLive painting with Josh Katz\nRope bondage suspension with Two Knotty Boys\nCaricatures by Paul Gallo\nBootblack boy zander \nIn honor of the Alley’s bronze bootprints\, sixteen local artists are each turning a combat boot into an art piece. The boots will be on display during the event and will be up for auction. Many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work.
