DESCRIPTION:Submit your photos and stories of the SF Eagle!  They will be sent to the Historic Preservation Commission to help achieve landmark status for the bar. We are working with the Planning Department to support the effort. We are particularly looking for these stories or photos\, especially from the 80s and 90s: \nNotable events/parties/meetings/gatherings which occurred on the premises and may have helped shape/define SOMA’s Leather/LGBTQ community. \nSignificant people associated with the venue (performers\, patrons\, etc.). \nPhotos (interior/exterior\, historic/current).  \nClick the “Discussion” tab to post them here or email them to manager@sflcd.org. SUMMARY:Housing Element Listening Session for Japantown Cultural District
DESCRIPTION:Shaping the future of the housing in Japantown starts with your input! Make sure our community’s voices are heard! \nNow is the time to reimagine a more vibrant\, livable\, equitable future for Japantown. It is also the opportunity to address the inequities caused by Urban Renewal or the “Redevelopment\,” that have continued to impact housing and community sustainability in Japantown for decades. \nThe Housing Element is San Francisco’s housing plan for the next 8 years (2022-2030) and the first one that will center on racial and social equity. This ongoing policy effort will address the City’s housing needs in terms of adequacy\, affordability\, racial and social equity\, environmental justice\, design\, resiliency\, and livability. It will include policies and programs that express our collective vision and values for the future of housing in San Francisco. It will define our priorities for housing solutions guiding decisions and resource allocation for creating housing and providing housing services.
