Community Meetings

Prior to the election of the Board of Directors, Community Meetings were held monthly; since the adoption in August 2019 of the Cultural District Bylaws and the election of a Board of Directors, there are now “Membership Meetings” held at least once each year, plus other community-wide events, including “Open House” and “Town Hall” events, as appropriate.

Our most recent Open House was held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the SF LGBT Center in San Francisco. You can view the video of that event here!

A Town Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, in the Rainbow Room of the SF LGBT Center, 1800 Market St, in San Francisco.  If you want your voice in the leather community to be heard — If you want to offer your ideas about what the Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District should be doing, now and in the future — THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!  The entire community is invited and encouraged to attend.  More info is here and on the Facebook event.

Membership Meetings

Although anyone is welcome to attend and speak at our monthly Directors meetings, only Voting Members get to vote to elect Directors at the Annual Membership Meeting in August, or to vote on critical matters presented at Special Membership Meetings.

The next election of Directors will happen at the Annual Membership Meeting in July or August of 2020.  Special Membership Meetings may be called at any time.

Please click here for more information, and to become a Full Voting Member of the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District.

If you have any questions about our meetings and membership, please write to info@sflcd.org.
